Strawberry Crepe

Indulge in our easy Strawberry Crepe recipe for a perfect breakfast or dessert! Made with simple ingredients and cooked on the skillet for a unique twist.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk
  • 250gr fresh strawberries, sliced

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, oil or melted butter, sugar, and salt until combined.
  2. Gradually add the flour, whisking constantly until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  3. Cover the batter with plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Once the batter has rested, heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and swirl the pan around to coat the bottom evenly.
  6. Cook the crepe for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to turn golden brown. Use a spatula to flip the crepe over and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  7. Repeat steps 6-7 until you have used up all the batter.
  8. Once the crepes are cooked, drizzle the condensed milk and add sliced strawberries on each crepe.
  9. Fold each crepe in half, then fold it in half again to form a triangle.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious crepes!

 

Tips

You can also add toppings such as whipped cream or chopped nuts to your crepes for added flavour and texture.
