Hayley's Brisket Cheese Dip
The perfect companion for your leftover brisket! This rich and smoky cheese dip is great for drizzling over brisket, dipping crusty bread, or adding a creamy kick to your BBQ spread. A must-have for any cheese lover!
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 1 1/2 cups full cream milk
- 1 cup grated smoked cheese
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese (Edam for the Kiwis)
- Salt + Pepper to taste
Method
- Melt butter, add flour, and stir. Let simmer for 1 minute.
- Gradually add 1/2 of the milk, stirring until it thickens.
- Add the remaining milk and stir until thickened.
- Add smoked cheese and stir until melted.
- Once combined, add tasty cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Melt the cheese to perfection, and dip away!
