Hayley's Brisket Cheese Dip

The perfect companion for your leftover brisket! This rich and smoky cheese dip is great for drizzling over brisket, dipping crusty bread, or adding a creamy kick to your BBQ spread. A must-have for any cheese lover!

 

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 1 1/2 cups full cream milk
  • 1 cup grated smoked cheese
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese (Edam for the Kiwis)
  • Salt + Pepper to taste

Method

  1. Melt butter, add flour, and stir. Let simmer for 1 minute.
  2. Gradually add 1/2 of the milk, stirring until it thickens.
  3. Add the remaining milk and stir until thickened.
  4. Add smoked cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Once combined, add tasty cheese. Stir until smooth.
  6. Melt the cheese to perfection, and dip away!
