Easy Campfire Pizza

Embrace the essence of Italy in the great outdoors with a rustic, al fresco feast, celebrating classic Italian flavours atop crispy focaccia dough.

 

Ingredients

Focaccia Dough:
4 cups of flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp instant yeast
2 cups of water

Toppings:
pizza sauce
ham, salami or meatballs
grated cheese

Method

  1. Combine flour, salt and yeast.
  2. Then add water. Use a spatula to mix into dough and slick with oil. For the best results, rest it in the fridge for 24 hours. You can leave it in there for upto 72 hours if you like!
  3. Fry in a deep pan on both sides.
  4. Then it’s time to add your toppings! Try pizza sauce, ham/salami and cheese.
  5. Add a lid to ensure that the cheese melts.
  6. Lift the lids to check and add some fresh basil to garnish and enjoy!
