Beef Burgers

This burger is so insanely tasty that you'll gladly embrace the mess of juicy, gooey goodness dripping all over your hands and mouth. Who needs napkins when you have a burger this good?!⁠

 

Ingredients

PATTIES:
500 grams of beef mince
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely diced
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
70 grams of smoked mozzarella, sliced

BURGER:
4 burger buns
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 cups of salad mix
1 medium tomato, sliced
Lane’s BBQ Sauce
Pickles
Bacon

Method

PATTIES
1. In a large bowl, mix together the beef mince, garlic, onion, dried oregano, and black pepper.
2. Take a half handful of the patties mix (around 75 grams) , shape it into a small ball and flatten it.
3. Add a slice of smoked mozzarella cheese and cover with another flattened patty, make sure to cover the cheese well. Redo until all the patties mix has been used. Set aside.

BURGERS
1. Prepare your BBQ with the Samba Lump Charcoal and Natural Firelighters. Place your hot plate on top and get ready to cook!
2. Once the hot plate is hot, drizzle some oil and place the patties on the hot plate.
3. Cut the buns in half, crosswise, and place them together with the patties to get a nice colour and crust.
4. Assemble the burger: squeeze mayonnaise on the bottom part of the bun, add salad mix and tomato, top with the beef and smoked mozzarella patty, pickle, bacon and Lane’s BBQ sauce for some kick and close with the top of the bun.
5. Serve and enjoy!
